In the summer of 1995 Sálin gave in to pressure to get the band back together after a long hiatus and released a new album, „Sól um nótt“, followed by some heavy touring around Iceland. Guðmundur was again in control in terms of songwriting and the album included few popular songs like „Fannfergi hugans“ (Snowfall Of My Mind) and the title track „Sól um nótt“ (The Sun at Night).
